We would like to inform you about the new website of The Code. That’s www.thecode.org The Code helps us to keep local families, and especially children, safe. ResiRest is a member of The Code for several years now. 

We encourage you to visit the website and read about protecting children in travel and tourism. It’s available in multiple languages. Also, there’s an ‘e learning login’ which you can use to learn more. Find it at the top menu of the website. You may use the ResiRest password to join, that’s: RESce 

Please let us now if you read it, succeeded in practicing the e learning, and feel free to state any remarks or ask questions. Contact person in general for this topic is Margriet (margriet@resirest.com). You can also discuss the topic with Flo or Geert in your general contact moments. 

Dutch travel companies were invited to come to Sri Lanka to explore possibilities for safe traveling in Covid times. Geert made this trip on behalf of ResiRest. Best part of the trip was for sure finally meeting Yaathav in person, and having a meal with a local family in Kandy. Thanks for the hospitality, Yaathav!

There has been a change in IT. Marjolein doesn’t work for ResiRest anymore. Marcel is now the IT manager and contact person for all IT issues. You might know him because he’s also a ResiRest local coordinator in Vietnam.
